VEHICLE DISPATCHER

Job Summary:

The Dispatcher, Motor Vehicle (Motor  Vehicle Utilization Assistant) is responsible for the assignment of  motor vehicles and drivers for conveyance of freight or passengers and  compiling lists of available vehicles.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Assigns motor vehicles and drivers for conveyance of freight or passengers.
  • Makes determination on assignment of vehicles based on various factors, such as length and purpose of trip, freight or  passenger requirements, and preference of user
  • Issues keys, record sheets, and driver credentials.
  • Records departure times, destination, cargo, and expected time of returns, and investigation of overdue vehicles.
  • Communicates with customers to expedite or locate missing, misrouted, delayed or damaged merchandise, as necessary.
  • Maintains record of mileage, fuel used, repairs made, and other expenses.
  • Directs activities of drivers.
  • Assigns helpers to drivers as needed.
  • Assigns vehicles to customer agencies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Job duties and responsibilities may change due to contractual requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be able to work as part of a team.\
  • Ability to effectively manage customer contact.
  • Knowledge of Army Transportation System.
  • U.S. Citizen
  • NACI Clearance
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project and SharePoint preferred.

Specific contractual requirements regarding education and experience prevail where applicable.

Working Conditions:

Work will typically be in a  temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to  electronic office equipment. There may be times when an employee is  exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions.  Rarely will an  employee be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic  chemicals, and loud noise.

LOGISTICS MANAGER - (3 Levels: Senior, Mid-Level and Junior)

Experience/Qualifications:

  •  Managing, analyzing, coordinating and monitoring supply chain and distribution channels on a DoD contract.
  • Experience  supervising inventories of government purchased property in allocated  storage spaces as well as the following the appropriate distribution/  re-distribution procedures for government purchased equipment.
  • Responsible  for supervising and directing operational technicians in the  performance of comprehensive analysis across the spectrum and  operational logistics planning and using the ability to perform  independent work to provide logistics and support system effective  analyses, studies and evaluations.
  • Experience  supervising inventories of government purchased property in allocated  storage spaces as well as the following the appropriate distribution/  re-distribution procedures for government purchased equipment.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain high level U.S. government security clearance.
  • Utilizing a file management system via Excel/ Access to track files.
  • Experience in a DoD environment and preferably on classified contracts.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide management and customers with  basic logistics technology and information that ensures effective and  economical support for products, service, equipment and systems.
  • Respond  to requests for items from files by locating and retrieving the item,  sending or delivering it to the requester, and documenting the  transaction.
  • Confer with document originators to resolve discrepancies and compile required changes to documents
  • Distribute documentation to users and ensured obsolete documentation is removed from distribution
  • Maintain a computer database of all filed documentation to ensue fast retrieval of documents.
  • Responsible  for review and alterations of shipping manifests in order to accurately  account for government purchased equipment/ items.
  • Responsible for safe and efficient transport of government purchased equipment to multiple facilities.
  • Responsible  for transporting excess government purchased equipment to disposal  facilities while adhering to the customer’s security policies for  expediting materials both classified and unclassified.
  • Responsible for monitoring section employee’s timesheets, instructing on corrections, and approving/ rejecting submissions.

Skills:

  •  Skilled in manifesting materials for disposition and re-issue to  sites while maintaining 100% accountability of hundreds of supporting  documents
  • Excellent verbal  communication skills and management abilities supported by working with  government employees to verify accountability and maintain high contract  efficiency throughout the organization.
  • Advanced  computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office products (Word,  Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.) OS2 UNIX, Windows NT Server, SharePoint  and Visio.Has advanced problem-solving, organizational, and critical  thinking skills

PROJECT CONTROL ANALYST

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Practical knowledge and strong  communication skills to support programs within DoD sector. The PCA will  participate in the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting of  projects of varying contract type, size, complexity, and level of risk.  The PCA must have strong communication skills, motivated and the ability  to work independently but in a team environment.
  • Have  an advanced understanding of the financial management of contract  funding, revenue, cost, profit, DSO, billed AR, unbilled AR, backlog,  labor utilization, subcontracts, consultants, excess revenue, and  purchase orders.
  • Experience  with Program Start-Up, Program Maintenance, Program Close-Out,  Performance Analysis, Time and Labor Recording, Reporting, and Analysis,  Subcontractor Maintenance, Monthly Financial Close, Customer Reporting,  Problem Resolution and Pricing.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a high level U.S. government security clearance.
  • Has extensive experience in the DoD environment and preferably on classified contracts.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the financial/business management of multiple large, secure government programs.
  • Implementation of standard processes, tools, and defined program planning and control practices.
  • Preparation  of financial internal/external reports to include Annual Operating  Plan, Indicated Finals, EAC/ETC, CFSRs, Business Management Review  charts, customer invoice backup documentation, WBS/project setup,  charging practice determinations, and purchase requisitions.
  • Participates  in the preparation of budgets for all contract work and performs and/or  assists in financial analysis, such as funding profiles, revenue  outlook, and variance analysis.
  • Ability to multi-task and support multiple complex elements of the project efficiently and effectively.
  • Interface  with the contracts and subcontracts team, contract accounting, accounts  payable, accounts receivable, purchasing organizations, pricing, as  well as Program Managers, Corporate Line Management, and external  customers.
  • Ensures compliance with all company policies, internal controls, disclosed practices, and contractual requirements.

Skills:

  •  Excellent verbal communication  skills and management abilities supported by working with government  employees to verify accountability and maintain high contract efficiency  throughout the organization.
  • Advanced computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.)

OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Practical knowledge and strong communication skills to support programs within DoD sector.
  • Expertise  must cover a broad-range of transformational supply chain activities to  include, as a minimum: Warehousing; Transportation; Supply­ Chain  Information Technology; Performance Management; Communications; Risk  Management; Metric Collections; and, Change Management.
  • Is  comfortable with multi-tasking, business communication, basic financial  terminology, and basic project management techniques, have a proactive  work style and easily interact with others.
  • Must also be self-motivated and have to ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team environment.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a high level U.S. government security clearance.
  • Has extensive experience in a DoD environment.

Responsibilities:

  •  Expertise in performing supply chain analysis in one or more of the following areas: people, process, technology, and policy.
  • Function as integrators between business needs and technology solutions.
  • Help  with the implementation of the roadmap concept, designing and  supporting a governance structure for the business architecture model.
  • Experience  with program management, business modernization transformation, service  delivery transformation, organizational change, and training.
  • Provide strategy, operations and business process improvement to our clients.
  • Provide business transformation, finance, pricing and cost analysis to our clients.
  • Perform  accurate analysis and effective diagnosis of client issues and manage  day-to-day client relationships at peer client levels.

Skills:

SENIOR LOGISTICS PROGRAM/PROJECT MANAGER

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Managing large (preferably combatant  commands) logistics support services programs, contracts and personnel  at the operational and strategic level CONUS and OCONUS.
  • Managing lifecycle actions for resources totaling over $100M.
  • Working  knowledge of property accounting requirements as outlined in DoD  5000.64, Defense Property Accountability, and DoD 7000.14
  • Familiarity with and preferably experience using the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS)
  • Familiarity with and preferably experience using the Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE) system
  • Familiarity  with and preferably experience using the Standard Army Retail Supply  System (SARSS) to provide supply management and stock control
  • Familiarity  with and preferably experience using Unit Level Logistics Ground  (ULLS-G) to provide near real-time logistics management and decision  support information
  • Familiarity  with and preferably experience using Standard Property Book  System-Redesign (STAMIS) to manage logistics, maintenance, and equipment
  • Familiarity  with and preferably experience using PBUSE property accountability  system to maintain accountable records for property inventory
  • Familiarity with and preferably experience using Standard Army Financial Inventory, Accounting System (STARFIARS)
  • Ability to obtain/maintain high level US government issued security clearance/access.
  • Prefer at least a 20 years of experience in a DoD and or/ Intel Community environment and a BA in a related field.
  • Experience in a DoD environment and preferably on classified contracts.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise large number of logistics personnel dispersed over multiple locations.
  • Represent  the division on customer initiatives and coordinate and integrate best  practices across customer operations to facilitate support to the  customer’s mission.
  • Examine lifecycle functional and system processes.
  • Author/write decision memorandums for senior leadership.
  • Develop policy and procedures for the customer’s logistics program to ensure operations activities and responsiveness.
  • Manage a government contracts Quality Control Plan to meet Client expectations.
  • Develop, capture and analyze metrics to synchronize work flow actions with Contract deliverables.
  • Manage  the Policy and Procedures Analysis function for the customer’s  logistics functions; drafted Directives and prepare decision  memorandums.
  • Manage Property Accountability Supply System (PASS) project and numerous hand receipt holders within budget.
  • Establish property accountability for new accounts.
  • Supervise the purchasing, supply, accountability, and disposal of IT equipment.
  • Lead a large team of property accountability officers.
  • Create  detailed project plans with well-defined tasks, milestones, client  sign-offs and specifications, which serve to communicate project  progress to management.
  • Employ  proactive management style ensuring operational proficiency and timely  completion of assigned projects within or under timeframe and budget.
